I think this is more a reflection, a reminiscence, than an example of brooding. But then perhaps you were thinking back on what may seem to be happier times in Bonn.
Anyhow, my husband always complains I never read his blog, and that's not true. I'm not sure how to respond to him. Perhaps I should suggest that he be cruel to me? He is so kind.
I have my email all answered and sorted, and it has caused me to reflect. Suddenly, I eagerly await more email. Seemingly endless vistas of time and possibilities for interaction open up. It is the nagging, brooding tasks which so often shape our lives and fill the void.
Posted by: Vima Kiki on August 5, 2003 09:27 AMIt's those endless vistas that blogs were created to fill in. Sort of like parking lots paving over the very nature that folks want to drive to and visit. I think I was brooding when I wrote the entry which is, as you say, more reflective.
