lust & fond

Ed Wood’s last film, Necromania, long thought lost, has been found and released on DVD. Nick Paumgarten gives the naughty details in his article in the New Yorker. Rudolph Grey, who wrote the Wood biography, Nightmare of Ecstasy, on which Tim Burton based his biopic, discovered the negative in an LA warehouse. [via the Two Blowhards]

I'm really tempted to buy this, but after tormenting my wife and friends with other Woodsian gems over the years, I'm pretty sure I'd be watching it alone, and what fun would that be?

I'll guess I'll have to console myself by buying the special edition of Tim Burton's "Ed Wood" on DVD.

Yeah, it's a guilty pleasure at best. Maybe I'll suggest that my corner mom 'n' pop video shop get it. Or the library.
