You learn something new every day: Gotteschalc a patron saint of linguists. The index does not list technical writers, but writers in general fall under John the Apostle’s patronage whose memorial day is coincidentally my birthday. And Isidore of Seville is watching over computer technicians. I always thought Izzy was the patron saint of etymologists. Guess I was wrong.
